There are many factors that can impact system performance with a Windows upgrade. We do not suggest by simply meeting the minimum hardware requirements to go ahead and proceed with a Windows upgrade. Should I Upgrade to Vista?
At current time we suggest you only upgrade to Windows Vista if you verified compatibility of your other software and hardware. We also suggest running Vista with at least 1 GB of ram and we generally suggest upgrading to 2 GB for the best performance. To view the hardware requirements for Windows Vista click here.
